BASKETBALL CLUB TRYOUTS

Tryout Date: February 15, 2010 (President's Day) OR Feb 17, 2010
Tryout Location: 43 Hoops Basketball Academy in Hopkins
Registration Fee: $15

Boys and girls ages 10 and 11 (grades 4 and 5)
Feb 15, 11:00am to 12:30pm OR Feb 17, 5:00 to 6:30pm    Register

Boys and girls ages 12 and 13 (grades 6 and 7)
Feb 15, 12:30 to 2:00pm OR Feb 17, 6:30 to 8:00pm    Register

Boys and girls age 14 (8th graders)
Feb 15, 2:00 to 4:00pm OR Feb 17, 6:60 to 8:00pm    Register

All participants will be evaluated on shooting, dribbling, and 5-on-5 offensive and defensive skills and ability.

Basketball Skills Training: All participants in the 43 Hoops Basketball Club are required to be on a 43 Hoops Training Package. The 43 Hoops Basketball Academy offers a variety of Basketball Skills Training Packages, including a Summer Training Program offered exclusively to our Club participants. The benefits of our Basketball Skills Training Programs are reflected in the achievements of our participants. Over the past two years the 43 Hoops Basketball Academy participants have consistently shown vast improvements over their previous level of play:

Over 300 participants have moved up at least one level of play (e.g. from a C team to a B team, or from a B team to an A team).
Over 100 participants have moved up 2 levels (e.g. from an In-House team to a B team or from a C team to an A team).
We currently train over 150 A team players!
Our ultimate goal is simply to make every player better!

Basketball Club Fees: Basketball Club Flees are $525 and include:

Reversible uniform and shorts
Shooting shirt
6 in-state tournaments (including MYAS or AAU State Tournament)
2 one and a half hour practices per week
Coach's fee

Training Fees: The 43 Hoops Basketball Club Summer Training Program ($200/mo for three months) or an equivalent training package will be required to participate on a 43 Hoops Basketball Club team. The Club Training Program, offered exclusively to Club participants, includes 3 intensive skills training sessions each week throughout the summer.
